Statement 1 is correct: Equality before law and equal protection of law provided in Article 14 of the constitution of India are available to both citizens and foreigners. Article 14 states, &ldquo;The State shall not deny to any person equality before the law or the equal protection of the laws within the territory of India.&rdquo;
Statement 2 is correct: Freedom of speech and expression as provided in Article 19(1)(a) of the Indian Constitution is only available to citizens of the country and not to the foreigners.
