Leaders like Satish Chandra Samanta, Sushil Kumar Dhara, and Ajoy Mukherjee played key roles in these initiatives.

Statement 2 is not correct: In Satara, the Prati Sarkar (Parallel Government) was organized under leaders like Y.B. Chavan and Nana Patil. It set up village libraries, formed Nyayadan Mandals (justice committees), ran prohibition campaigns, and organized simple, cost-effective &lsquo;Gandhi marriages&rsquo;.

Statement 3 is correct: In Ballia, in August 1942, for about a week, Chittu Pandey led the movement. He successfully managed to get many Congress leaders released during this time.
