Statement 1 is not correct: A Centrally Sponsored Scheme, ULLAS - Nav Bharat Saaksharta Karyakram, is an educational initiative implemented from FY 2022-23 to 2026-27. ULLAS, which stands for Understanding of Lifelong Learning for All in Society, aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and aims to provide educational opportunities to adults aged 15 and above who have missed formal schooling.

Statement 2 is correct: The scheme aims to achieve universal literacy by encouraging community participation, inclusivity, and leveraging technology, ultimately empowering every citizen with the ability to read, write, and engage meaningfully in society.

Statement 3 is not correct: Ladakh has become the first administrative unit which is fully literate under ULLAS This milestone was officially declared by the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Brigadier (Dr) BD Mishra on 24.06.2024
