Statement 1 is not correct: The Annapurna Scheme is not implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MoAFW). It is implemented by the Ministry of Rural Development, under the Department of Food and Public Distribution in coordination with State Governments.

Statement 2 is not correct: Indigent senior citizens of 65 years of age or above, who are not getting pension under the National Old Age Pension Scheme (NOAPS), are provided 10 kgs. of food-grains per person per month free-of-cost under it. Food-grains are provided by the DFPD under the scheme at BPL prices.
