Statement 2 is not correct: MSP is provided in 2 commercial crops viz., Jute and copra.In addition to that ,MSP for toria and de-husked coconut are also fixed on the basis of MSPs of rapeseed , mustard and copra, respectively.
Statement 3 is not correct: The CACP (Commission for Agricultural Costs and Prices) is responsible for recommending MSPs. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) is responsible for the final approval and announcement, not the recommendation.
