&bull; The individual arrested has the Right to be informed of the grounds of arrest.
&bull; The individual arrested has the Right to consult and be defended by a legal practitioner of his choice.
&bull; The Individual arrested has the Right to be produced before a magistrate within 24 hrs, excluding the journey time and Right to be released if the magistrate does not authorises further detention
