Explanation
The Ashtadiggajas were eight eminent Telugu poets in the court of Krishnadevaraya of the Vijayanagara Empire. They played a significant role in shaping Telugu literature, and their works are regarded as some of the finest in Indian literary history.
Among them, Allasani Peddana was the most distinguished and was honored with the title Andhra Kavitapitamaha (Grandfather of Telugu poetry). He authored Manucharitram, which is considered one of the greatest poetic works of the era.
