The Khudai Khidmatgars (translated as Servants of God) were a nonviolent, anti-colonial resistance movement founded in 1929 by Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, also known as Frontier Gandhi or Bacha Khan. The movement originated in the North-West Frontier Province (NWFP) of British India, now part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan. It played a significant role in India&rsquo;s freedom struggle against British colonial rule.
