Event 1: Murshid Quli Khan was appointed as the Diwan of Bengal in 1700 and he became the Governor in 1717.

Event 2: Ahmad Shah Abdali established his authority over Afghanistan after the death of Nadir Shah. He repeatedly invaded North India between 1748-1767. So his first invasion took place in 1748.

Event 3: Hyder Ali was a commander in the forces of the Mysore empire. He had recognised the advantage of the western military training and established a modern arsenal in Dindigul with the French help in 1755.
