Statement 2 is correct: As part of the treaty, Burma was compelled to accept a British Resident (a diplomatic representative) at its capital, Ava, which marked a step towards greater British influence in Burmese affairs.

Statement 3 is not correct: Burma was required to pay a large indemnity for the expenses of the war but it did not agree to refrain from making alliances with other foreign powers as part of the Treaty.
