Statement 1 is correct: Volcanic eruptions along coastal margins can be influenced by various factors, including water and seasonal changes, which are linked to the occurrence of volcanic eruptions.

Statement 2 is correct: Some volcanoes, such as those in intraplate regions like the Hawaii Islands and fault zones of East Africa, are formed due to tectonic activities outside the plate boundaries. Based on plate tectonics, there is a close relationship between plate margins and vulcanicity as most of the world's active volcanoes are associated with the plate boundaries. About 15 percent of the worlds' active volcanoes are found along the constructive plate margins or divergent plate margins (along the mid-oceanic ridges where two plates move in opposite directions) whereas 80 per cent volcanoes are associated with the destructive or convergent plate boundaries (where two plates collide).

Statement 3 is correct: The Atlantic coasts have comparatively few active volcanoes but are home to several dormant or extinct ones, such as those in Madeira, Ascension, St. Helena, and Cape Verde Islands.
