Jhelum is a river of northwestern India and northern and eastern Pakistan. It constitutes the westernmost of the five rivers of the Punjab region that merge with the Indus River in eastern Pakistan. It rises from a deep spring at Verinag, in western Jammu and Kashmir union territory, in the Indian-administered portion of the Kashmir region.
Yamuna is a major river of northern India, primarily in Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh states. It is one of the country’s most sacred rivers. It rises on the slopes of the Bandarpunch range in the Great Himalayas near Yamunotri in western Uttarakhand. It is the longest tributary of the Ganga
Teesta, a tributary of the Brahmaputra river originates at Tso Lamo in the state of Sikkim flows through West Bengal, and then enters the Rangpur division in Bangladesh.
Sutlej is a tributary of the Indus river, originates in the Rakas lake near Mansarovar, Tibet.
It is the longest of the five tributaries of the Indus River.
Lohit is a tributary of the Brahmaputra River. It originates in the Zayal Chu ranges of Tibet and flows through India and China.
