Statement 1 is correct: These are the most widespread forests in India.
Statement 2 is correct: These forests are called monsoon forests because they receive seasonal rainfall, mainly during the monsoon season. They spread over regions which receive rainfall between 70-200 cm.
Statement 3 is not correct: Tropical deciduous forests do not remain lush green year-round. They shed their leaves during the dry season to conserve water, so they do not remain green all year.
