Statement 1 is not correct: Posthumous awards are allowed under the Bharat Ratna. The provision to award it posthumously was introduced in 1955. Several recipients have received it after death, including Lal Bahadur Shastri, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and more.

Statement 2 is not correct: The Bharat Ratna can be awarded to non-Indians.
Notable examples include:

	Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan (1987), Nelson Mandela (1990), former President of South Africa.

Statement 3 is not correct: The Bharat Ratna medal does not have "Satyamev Jayate" written on it in Brahmi script.
Instead:

	It is a peepal leaf-shaped medallion.
	The obverse side has a sunburst with the words "Bharat Ratna" in Devanagari script.
	The reverse side contains the State Emblem of India and "Satyamev Jayate", in Devanagari script.
