The concept of the IMEE-EC corridor was initiated last year by Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates, along with his National Security Advisor Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Zayed, and the National Security Advisors of India and the US, Ajit Doval and Jake Sullivan.
