The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) is a specialized agency of the UN that is dedicated to providing essential services such as education, healthcare, relief, and social services to Palestinian refugees.
For the fiscal year 2024-25, India has allocated $2.5 million as the first installment of its total annual contribution of $5 million to UNRWA.
As of the end of the 2023-24 fiscal year, India has contributed a cumulative total of $35 million to UNRWA.
