What is 3D Printing?

    • Resin Printing (SLA/DLP): Uses a light source to selectively cure (harden) layers of liquid resin in a vat.
  • Finishing: Some printed objects may require a bit of post-processing, like removing supports or sanding for a smoother finish.

Types of 3D Printers

  • FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling): The most common and generally affordable type, ideal for hobbyists and rapid prototyping with plastics.
  • Resin (SLA/DLP): Produces incredibly detailed and smooth prints, great for miniatures, jewelry, and dental models.
