The three Summit sessions will explore various crucial topics such as inclusive and sustainable economic growth, disaster risk reduction, energy transitions, climate change, food systems, critical minerals, decent work, and artificial intelligence. Prime Minister Modi will elaborate on India’s perspectives regarding fair market access, development financing, and resilient global systems. These discussions are set against a backdrop of rising geopolitical tensions and trade-related disputes.
In addition to the G20 Summit, Modi will participate in the IBSA Leaders’ Meeting alongside Brazil and South Africa, highlighting the collaboration among major democracies in the Global South. Notably, several world leaders, such as the US President, Russian President, and Chinese President, will not attend the Summit, opting to send other representatives instead. Bilateral meetings are scheduled to take place on the sidelines, aimed at advancing India’s strategic and economic interests.
