In December 2025, Union Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, of the Ministry of Communications, chaired the Apex Council Meeting under the Bharat 6G Mission in New Delhi. The meeting focused on reviewing the progress of the Bharat 6th Generation Alliance (B6GA) and creating a roadmap to establish India as a global leader in 6G technology by 2030.
