Indian Lighthouse Festival 3.0 Overview

The 3rd edition of the Indian Lighthouse Festival 3.0 was held from January 09 to January 10, 2026, at MGM Park in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh (AP). This two-day national celebration was organized by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways MoPSW and the Director General of Lighthouses and Lightships DGLL.

On the sidelines of the festival, foundation stones were laid for four significant port infrastructure projects worth Rs 230 crore by the VPA. These projects include:

  • Upgrading fire-fighting facilities at the LPG berth.
  • Enhancing infrastructure at the ORS Dry Dock.
  • Constructing a new Administrative Office Building (AOB) at a cost of Rs 97.70 crore.
  • Building residential apartments at Harbour Park with an investment of Rs 44.20 crore.
