The Building and Management of Aviation Assets and Network (B-MAAN) is Odisha’s flagship aviation initiative with an allocation of ₹4,182 crore for 2025–30. B-MAAN is expected to generate thousands of direct and indirect jobs across construction, logistics, maintenance and training. Alongside B-MAAN, the Odisha cabinet has approved several complementary measures: procurement of 200 electric buses for six cities under a ₹952.56-crore green mobility plan; expansion of the Aahaar subsidised meal programme with ₹512 crore to improve food quality; and extension of the Crop Diversification Programme (₹1,523.98 crore) to support climate-resilient agriculture. These measures aim to pair connectivity gains with social and environmental goals.
