India's pursuit of renewable energy has led to the establishment of its largest floating solar power project, which boasts a remarkable capacity of 100 MW. This innovative project is located at NTPC-Ramagundam in Telangana, marking a significant step forward in the country’s energy landscape.
With the commissioning of this project, the total commercial operational capacity of floating solar installations in the Southern Region of India has surged to 217 MW. This growth highlights the increasing reliance on alternative energy sources to meet the region's energy demands.
