India is set to host the Bharat Electricity Summit 2026, a premier global conference and exhibition dedicated to the power and electricity sector, from March 19 to 22, 2026, at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi. The event expects to host more than 500 exhibitors, attract over 25,000 visitors, and bring together over 1,000 delegates and 300 speakers from both India and abroad. A dedicated Buyer–Seller Meet will facilitate partnerships, promote cross-border collaborations, and unlock new business opportunities within the global power supply chain.
This Summit will gather global policymakers, CEOs, investors, regulators, innovators, and solution providers to discuss advancements in electricity generation, transmission, distribution, storage, and smart consumption. Participants from various domains, including power generation, transmission, distribution, energy storage, battery technology, and energy efficiency, will showcase cutting-edge technologies and solutions aimed at supporting investment mobilization and the deployment of clean electricity.
During the announcement, Shri Manohar Lal emphasized that the Summit represents India's commitment to shaping future electricity systems. He quoted Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlighting India's transition into an era of energy abundance, shifting focus from managing shortages to effectively handling surplus energy and ensuring resilience. Senior officials from the Ministry of Power, central electricity institutions, allied ministries, State governments, industry bodies, and utilities participated in the announcement, demonstrating strong institutional support for the Summit.
