The implementation will see collaboration between NCERT and CBSE, working under the Coordination Committee for NCF-SE to ensure a seamless integration process, structured rollout, and robust quality assurance.

Key Features of the AI Curriculum

  • Curriculum Framework Integration: AI and Computational Thinking (CT) will be incorporated within the existing NCF-SE, with specific time allocations and resource planning.
  • Resource Development Timeline: Teaching-learning materials, handbook modules, and digital resources are scheduled for completion by December 2025.
  • Teacher Capacity Building: Teachers will undergo structured, grade-specific training through NISHTHA and other national institutions to ensure effective and confident classroom implementation.

Significance for Future Learning

This initiative marks a transformative step in India’s educational landscape, facilitating students to build foundational AI literacy and prepare them for a rapidly evolving, technology-driven future.
